Del Mar High School - New Performing Arts Theater
The groundbreaking ceremony for the New Performing Arts Center at Del Mar High School took place on September 3, 2009. This event marks the start of the third of five nearly identical Performing Arts Centers to be built at each of the Campbell Union High School District’s Comprehensive High Schools.

Providing maximum flexibility in function, each theater will be equipped with a combination of permanent and movable seating and flooring platforms allowing for different theater configurations including: traditional proscenium style (with and without orchestra pit),
black box theater, thrust stage and a large, open performance space.

Of the approximately 9300 square feet, the theaters and restrooms occupy approximately 8200 square feet with 1100 square feet allotted for lobbies.
